Martin Kay

Martin Kay PMP is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within major corporations. Currently serving as the Head of Corporate IT and Cloud Leader at SSE plc since May 2015, Martin is responsible for IT delivery to the corporate function, focusing on key customers in HR, Finance, Procurement, Risk & Treasury, and Group Safety. Prior to this, Martin held the position of Head of IT Delivery for Mortgages at RBS from August 2006 to April 2015, overseeing mortgage infrastructure delivery across multiple RBS brands. Additionally, Martin contributed as Head of IT Delivery for the Financial Transformation Programme and as an IT Programme Manager at Ford Motor Company from September 1998 to August 2006. Martin holds a BEng degree in Polymers from Edinburgh Napier University, completed between 1993 and 1998.
