Chiara Gilbert

Chiara Gilbert currently serves as the Head of Corporate PPA Origination at SSE Renewables, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Renewable Energy and Sustainability Manager at Accenture, Senior Consultant for Corporate PPA and Green Energy Procurement at DNV, and various positions at South Pole, where Chiara contributed significantly to renewable energy sourcing and corporate procurement strategies. Prior to that, Chiara was a Renewable Energy Analyst for the RE100 campaign at CDP, delivering insights into renewable energy disclosure and greenhouse gas accounting. Chiara's career also includes project management at WWF and KiloWatt Labs, focusing on climate action and energy storage market analyses. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Development and Business Management from Columbia University and a study abroad program on Climate Change from the School for International Training.
