Denis Sorkin

Denis Sorkin serves as the Director of Portfolio Acquisitions at SSE Renewables since March 2022, where the focus includes managing renewable energy projects. Prior to this role, Sorkin was the Investment Director for Renewable Energy at Innova Capital Limited from February 2018 to March 2022, leading a four-year strategy to acquire and optimize standalone solar farms. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Deloitte from September 2004 to February 2018, where Sorkin held roles such as Assistant Director in Energy and Infrastructure Advisory, providing financial and commercial advice on energy projects, and contributed to mergers and acquisitions, project due diligence, and investment appraisal. Sorkin's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Dakota.
