Gordon Rae

Gordon Rae is currently serving as a Geotechnical Project Engineer at SSE Renewables, where responsibilities include managing and developing geotechnical work packages for the Berwick Bank Offshore Wind Farm. Previously, Gordon gained experience as a Graduate Engineer at SSE Renewables through the Renewable Energy Graduate Programme and as an Offshore Wind Project Developer at Genesis Eco-Energy Developments, contributing to South Africa's first floating offshore wind farm. Additionally, Gordon worked as a Renewable Energy and Carbon Engineer at African Data Technologies (Pty) Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development from Stellenbosch University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
