Haydn Jamieson

Haydn Jamieson is an Onshore Wind Operations Manager at SSE Renewables, overseeing the Viking Energy Wind Farm in Shetland since December 2020. With a background in civil engineering, Haydn has progressed through various roles at SSE, including Civil Engineer and Turbine Supervisor, and has managed third-party consultants for design areas. Prior experience includes working as a Structural Integrity Engineer at Atkins, focusing on inspections and maintenance for North Sea installations, and serving as a Graduate Structural Engineer, where Haydn contributed to finite element analysis of offshore platforms. Haydn's earlier roles involved civil and structural engineering contributions at Arch Henderson LLP and experience as a student engineer in various capacities. Haydn holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Master of Science in Conceptual Design of Topside Modules from the University of Aberdeen.
