Sanath Subasinghe

Sanath Subasinghe currently serves as a Control Room Engineer at SSE Renewables, overseeing system operations for onshore wind, battery storage, and solar projects since September 2023. Prior to this role, Sanath worked as a Process Engineer at CTDI, where responsibilities included implementing standard work instructions for VM products and introducing innovations in heat staking processes from April to September 2023. Sanath has valuable experience as an Electrical Engineer at the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) from May 2018 to September 2022 and as a Radio Network Optimization Engineer at Etisalat Lanka, focusing on radio network planning and optimization from October 2015 to May 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Renewable Energy from Edinburgh Napier University, obtained in September 2023, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, completed in 2015. Further training included an engineering trainee position at CEB and experiences at Dialog Axiata PLC as a training engineer.
