Shehzad Khalid

Shehzad Khalid has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Shehzad started their career in 2007 as a Senior Associate at McGrigors LLP, where they worked until 2009. In 2010, they joined CMS Cameron McKenna as a Senior Associate. Later in 2010, they also worked as a Legal Advisor at BP until 2012. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Legal Advisor on secondment at Bumi Armada. Shehzad joined SSE plc in 2018 and held the roles of Senior Solicitor and Head of Legal - Distributed Energy. In 2023, they joined SSE Renewables as the Head of Legal - Business Development, Strategy & Route to Market.

Shehzad Khalid attended the University of Dundee from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
