Perry Johnson

Principal Engineer - Electrical Building Services at SSEN Transmission

Perry Johnson has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. From 2023 onwards, they worked at SSEN Transmission as a Principal Engineer, responsible for developing technical specifications and advising on project scope and supplier selection. Prior to this, Perry worked at Moray Council as a Principal Building Services Engineer, managing a budget for building services upgrades and implementing a Climate Change strategy. Perry also had experience as an Electrical Design Engineer at Highland Council, where they prepared tender packages and led electrical projects. Perry's earlier roles include work as a Power System Engineer at Catalyst Paper, a Project Development Engineer at Howe Sound Pulp and Paper Corporation, a Communications System Engineer at the Department of National Defence, and a Controls Engineer at Catalyst Paper. Additionally, Perry gained experience as a Technical Apprentice and Sales Representative at Face To Face Computers.

Perry Johnson received a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Victoria, where they studied from 2008 to 2016.
