Amit Patel

Amit Patel, PharmD, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Medical at SSI Strategy, driving strategic partnerships and offering specialized support to biotech companies since June 2021. Prior to this role, Amit was President of Fiore Healthcare Advisors, which was acquired by SSI Strategy in the same month. Experience also includes serving as Senior Director/Head of Medical Affairs at R-Pharm US, where Amit led medical strategy for marketed assets, and a Medical Affairs Director role at Merck, responsible for the launch of Keytruda in the US market. Additional notable positions include Health Outcomes Liaison at GlaxoSmithKline and Senior Medical Science Liaison at Human Genome Sciences. Amit began a career in Medical Information at The Medicines Company and has held various roles across leading pharmaceutical companies, building expertise in medical affairs, clinical research, and strategic medical communication. Educational background includes a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan.
