Sarah Swiderski

Sarah Swiderski is an experienced librarian specializing in youth and teen services, currently serving as the Youth and Teen Services Librarian at Salem-South Lyon District Library since March 2018. In this role, Sarah plans and implements storytimes promoting early childhood literacy through the Every Child Ready to Read program and develops educational programs for various age groups. Additional experience includes positions as a Substitute Librarian at Brighton District Library, a Michigan Maker at the University of Michigan where Sarah facilitated maker activities, and roles at several other libraries focusing on youth programs, patron assistance, and library services. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Writing from Saint Mary's College.
