Markus Sakko

Markus Sakko is an experienced operations manager currently leading the overall operations at Helsinki Airport and High Street Units of SSP Finland since October 2018. With a strong background in the hospitality and food service industry, Markus was previously a Multi Unit Manager at SSP Finland, contributing to the opening of new restaurant units, and served as Store Manager at Starbucks Sweden, overseeing operations at the largest Starbucks store in Sweden. Earlier roles include positions at Scandic Hotels and SSP Finland Oy, where responsibilities ranged from customer service to team leadership and inventory management. Markus holds a Master's degree in Leading Sales and Customer Experience from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management, along with vocational training in restaurant services.
