Alvon Bailey

Alvon Bailey has a diverse work experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Alvon currently works as a GIS Consultant at SSP Innovations, LLC, starting in October 2022. Prior to this role, Alvon worked at Dude Solutions for five years. Alvon served as a Senior GIS Operations Specialist from October 2019 to October 2022 and as a GIS Implementation Specialist from September 2017 to October 2022. Alvon also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina Central University from March 2016 to August 2017, and as a Public Utilities GIS Intern at the City of Raleigh Municipal Government from July 2015 to April 2016.

Alvon Bailey has a Master's degree in Earth Science from North Carolina Central University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geography, also at North Carolina Central University, from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alvon has obtained various certifications, including Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in April 2020, Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in March 2020, Advanced Google Analytics from Google in April 2020, and Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in March 2020.
