Michael is Chief Technology Officer of SSW Advanced Technologies, a role he assumed in 2020. Prior to this role, he was heading the New Product Development and Innovation department of the SCHOTT Gemtron Corp. using the deep understanding of glass and glass coating properties from his various roles in the Corporate R&D departments at SCHOTT AG based in Germany.
Michael believes that finding innovative solutions for our customer is SSWs key differentiator and enables long-term relationships to our customer. His goal is to develop products that are part of people’s everyday life.
Michael received his PhD in inorganic Chemistry in 2012 from the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
