Jim Lewis

Jim Lewis is a former student, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head of Prep and Director of Communications, Admissions and Development at St Columba’s College, an association spanning forty-three years. He grew up in Harpenden, and has hugely fond memories of his childhood, cycling in the ups and downs and being the first at the entrance gate in the summer holidays, for what used to be the open-air swimming pool in the park. Jim’s wife, Gill, is Head of Maths at St Columba’s College Prep, and he has a daughter sitting A Levels and a son at University. Jim has a particular interest in championing social diversity in education. Jim recently retired from education to focus on other interests. He briefly swapped roles to become the student, working part time at Majestic Wines, and studying for his WSET qualifications, before returning to full time employment with Agrigum International Ltd, where he is responsible for Business Development, European Sales and Global Marketing and Communications.
