John Ruge

John Ruge is the current Head of Senior College at St Andrew's College in New Zealand. John has previous experience as a Head of Faculty for English at St Margaret's College, a teacher at Frankfurt International School, and a Year 7-13 Teacher for English, Year 11-13 Dean, and Head of Department for English at Middleton Grange School. Ruge has also worked as a Senior Solicitor for Civil Litigation and Resource Management at Duncan Cotterill and Brookfields Lawyers.

John Ruge has a background in leadership development and education. John has completed the National Aspiring Principals Programme through the Ministry of Education, and holds a Master of Education (Hons) from Massey University. John also has a Graduate Diploma of Teaching from Christchurch College of Education, and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from The University of Auckland. Their undergraduate degree is in English from The University of Auckland. John also attended King's College.
