St. Anne Institute
Alexa Maelia, LCSW, holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University at Albany and has extensive experience in the field of mental health. Currently serving as the Director of Residential Clinical Services at St. Anne Institute since October 2019, Alexa has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Interim Residential Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor. Additionally, involvement with the Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties, Inc. as a Psychiatric Clinician for the Mobile Crisis Assessment Team has been ongoing since June 2015. Prior experience includes working as a Licensed Social Worker at St. Peter's Health Partners and various positions at St. Anne Institute, contributing to both client care and program administration since 2013.

St. Anne Institute is a voluntary, non-sectarian, residential and community based treatment center. St. Anne's comprehensive programs include a year-round Regents Accredited and Certified Jr. And Sr. High School for the emotionally handicapped; Residential Child Care for young women ages 12-21; Day Treatment/Family Services for children and families in crisis; a Pre School/ Day Care for children ages 3-3; and Prevention .
