Ann Konarski is an accomplished educator and administrator with significant experience in technology and community engagement. Currently serving as the Coordinator for the Local College Access Network since April 2017, Ann focuses on enhancing educational opportunities for Lapeer County residents post-high school. In addition, Ann has been an Instructor in Computer Information Systems at St. Clair County Community College since 2012, teaching courses like Foundation of Information Systems and MicroComputer Applications. With a longstanding role at GST Michigan Works! since 1996, Ann has directed the DBY Computer Lab and facilitated technology training for clients and community members. Previously, Ann served as an Instructor and System Program Coordinator at Baker College from 1994 to January 2017, developing instructional materials in Information & Technology. Ann also has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner/Promoter of MCD Corporation, running a nationally sanctioned racetrack for motocross and ATV racing. Ann holds a Masters of Science in Information Science from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Oakland University.
