John Fleming

John Fleming has extensive work experience in the field of digital media production and video editing. John has served as a Digital Media Producer/Director for the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service agency, where they primarily focused on video production for the Port Huron Area School District. John produced and edited various videos for promoting events, sports, board meetings, graduations, and school programs. John also managed and scheduled the Port Huron Schools television station and updated the PHS-TV Facebook page.

Additionally, John Fleming worked as the Owner/Videographer & Editor for Soar Beyond Productions LLC, where they created high-quality media for small businesses, government entities, corporate clients, non-profit organizations, and personal projects. John'srole included producing promotional videos, livestreaming events, creating drone videos, business training videos, commercials, real estate videos, and more. John also provided services such as voiceovers, graphic design, animated openers and titles, and social media setup and management.

Prior to their roles in digital media production, John Fleming worked as a Video Technician for St. Clair County, where they were responsible for the production of live and recorded television programming for Board of Commissioner meetings and county-related events. John handled directing, shooting, editing, and posting meetings and special events, as well as maintaining and upgrading production equipment. John also created graphics, videos, and updated events on Facebook.

Before venturing into digital media, John Fleming worked in the education sector as a Media | Graphic Design specialist for Landmark Academy ~ Public Charter School. John created graphics for advertising and in-house media, produced PowerPoint presentations, and assisted with sound and media operations for school assemblies, orientations, and concerts. John also provided technical support, troubleshooting software and equipment issues, and managed social media updates.

Furthermore, John Fleming served as a Production Coordinator for Cross Current Church, where they produced internet and television programs of church services. John was responsible for recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers for camera operations, graphics, and lighting. John also designed bulletins, signs, and other print media, and managed social media platforms such as Vimeo, Facebook, and Twitter.

John Fleming's early work experience includes serving as a Media Assistant and Maintenance personnel for Life of Faith Fellowship. John also worked as an 8th Grade Teacher Assistant for Landmark Academy ~ Public Charter School.

Before entering the field of digital media and education, John Fleming gained experience as a Paper Delivery person for The Times Herald.

John Fleming began their education by attending Port Huron High School from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained their High School Diploma. In 2000, they also pursued an Apprenticeship in Video and Media Production, earning the title of Apprentice in the Life of Faith. Additionally, from 2000 to 2001, John attended Baker College, where they focused on MS Office and Computer Systems, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. In November 2019, they obtained a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration.
