Charlie Curtis

Director, LGBT Resource Center at St. Cloud State University

Charlie Curtis is the current Director of the LGBT Resource Center at St. Cloud State University. Prior to this, Charlie worked as a Case Coordinator with CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties from April 2019 to November 2021. In this role, Charlie worked with a team to coordinate and assign cases to volunteers, as well as supporting them through their role in the court system and the child's life.

From February 2019 to April 2019, Charlie worked as a Job Developer with Royal Journeys, LLC. In this role, Charlie worked with clients who have special needs to find fulfilling job placements for them that ingrain them in the community. Charlie also provided initial support in their job until they either got a permanent job coach or could be faded off of that support entirely.

From August 2016 to April 2019, Charlie worked as a Department Manager for the E-Commerce department of the Rexburg, ID Walmart. As a Department Manager, Charlie worked to keep their team motivated and on task while salaried management wasn't present, as well as independently resolving customer complaints and other issues that may arise in the course of business.

Prior to working at Walmart, from September 2015 to May 2016, Charlie worked as a Night Custodian with the Madison School District #321.

Charlie Curtis has a Bachelor's degree in General Psychology from Brigham Young University - Idaho and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Cloud State University.

Charlie Curtis reports to Katrina Rodriguez, VP, Student Affairs. They work with Michelle Schmitz - Executive Director, Career Center, Valory Mcsweeney - Interim Director, Residential Life, and Rebecca Kotz - Interim Director, Women's Center.
