Carla Mae Merluza

Carla Mae Merluza, RN MSN-PSQ, BSPH, currently serves as a Post Anesthesia Care Nurse and Regulatory Compliance Coordinator at St. David's HealthCare since October 2023, focusing on Quality Management within the HCA Healthcare organization. Previously, Carla worked as a Registered Nurse at Austin Gastroenterology, PA with HCA Healthcare from March 2020 to October 2023 and held the same role at St. David's Healthcare from July 2017 to March 2020. Earlier experience includes a Clinical Nurse position at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Surgical Telemetry and Interventional Endoscopy/Bronchoscopy from August 2008 to June 2017, and various pharmacy intern roles across multiple prestigious healthcare institutions. Carla holds an MSN in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, along with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Rutgers University.
