Sara Modur is an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a degree in Neuroscience. Currently serving as a Patient Care Technician in the Rehabilitation Unit at St. David's HealthCare, Sara's responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers, performing phlebotomy, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. In addition to this role, Sara is a mentor for early career students in the STEM field with STEM Muse and actively participates in the Ascension volunteer program. Previous experiences include a clinical research internship at St. David’s Office of Research, where Sara contributed to overseeing numerous research studies, as well as various research roles related to fish behavior, where data analysis and technical writing were emphasized.
