St. Edmund's Academy 

Extended Day Counselor

Start Date - August 2024

St. Edmund’s Academy seeks counselors for the after school extended day program.  Opportunities are available Monday through Friday, 3:15-6:00 p.m. (options include working 1 day per week minimum to 5 days per week maximum).

Responsibilities - 

  • Lead by example in following the Core Values of St. Edmund’s Academy

  • Supervise activities in various locations safely around the school campus

  • Enthusiastically implement and facilitate activities

  • Respectfully interact with and communicate with staff, parents, and co-counselors

  • Build positive relationships with students

  • Arrive consistently and on time

  • Ensure proper procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications - 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

  • Willingness to work cooperatively and accept feedback

  • Ability to actively engage with children, including but not limited to sports, climbing, arts and crafts, lifting

  • Experience working with children preferred
