Thiam Beng Lau

Thiam Beng Lau is an accomplished executive with over two decades of experience at ST Engineering, serving as Chief Operating Officer and Head of the Public Safety & Security Business within the Defence & Public Security Cluster. Notably, Thiam has held significant roles including COO of Digital Systems and Deputy President of Operations, alongside leadership in Defence Business and Cyber Security Systems. Prior to ST Engineering, Thiam served as Division Manager at CWC & I2R and R&D Manager at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Thiam's educational qualifications include an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, as well as degrees from the University at Buffalo and the National University of Singapore, where a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Electrical Engineering was obtained.
