Elisabeth Francis, LCSW, has a diverse work experience in the social work field. Elisabeth started their career in 2007 as a Technical Assistant at the U.S. Department of State, providing clerical and administrative support. Elisabeth then became a BSW Student Placement at Commonwealth Catholic Charities, where they developed resources and provided assistance for outreach services to the Hispanic population.

In 2008, Elisabeth joined Prax(us) as a Community Outreach Worker and AmeriCorps UCAN Serve Member. In this role, they addressed domestic human trafficking through anti-oppression practice and harm reduction intervention strategies. Elisabeth conducted harm-reduction street outreach to homeless and at-risk youth and advocated for anti-human trafficking legislation.

From 2009 to 2010, Elisabeth worked as a Community Liaison & AmeriCorps VISTA at Growing Home, where they helped develop an emergency cold-weather shelter program and expanded organizational resources and partnerships to address family homelessness, child hunger, and child poverty.
