Last year, more than 5,000 babies were born at SFMC’s Family Life Center, with 875 babies cared for in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Center. Our Healthy Community Initiatives bring health care services to children and families in their schools and neighborhoods. In addition, we operate the Children’s Counseling Center for abused and neglected children, a Health Benefits Resource Center to link individuals and families to health insurance and social service programs, and a broad range of educational and community services programs that improve the health and well-being of children, adults, and seniors throughout our service area.
