James Sims III

Chief Medical Officer at St Hope Healthcare

James Sims III has a diverse work history in the healthcare industry. From 2002 to 2011, they worked as a Staff Physician at the Lake County Health Department. In 2011, they joined Diagnostic Clinic of Houston as an Infectious Disease Specialist and Internist. James then moved on to become Chief Medical Officer at St Hope Foundation in 2012, where they also served as the Principal Investigator and Medical Director during their tenure. In their role as Chief Medical Officer, James was responsible for examining and revising medical care standards, implementing quality assurance programs, and ensuring the highest quality of care for patients. James also developed a review process and implemented monitoring systems.

James Sims III completed their education in the field of medicine. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where they obtained their M.D. degree. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, attending from 1988 to 1992.

In addition to their educational background, James Sims III also acquired a certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. James obtained this certification in December 2010.
