Mauricio Diaz de Leon

Mauricio Diaz de Leon, M.A., currently serves as the Program Manager for Immersion, Advocacy & Social Justice at St. Ignatius College Preparatory since August 2023. Previously, Mauricio held various recruitment roles, including Technical Recruiter for Product, Design, & Analytics and Engineering at DoorDash, where successful candidate sourcing and pipeline management were evident in substantial hiring outcomes. As a Talent Advisor at SoloStar, a focus on connecting with underrepresented talent was emphasized, and as Associate Director for Justice & Outreach at the University of San Francisco, significant achievements in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives were made, increasing underrepresented hires by 35% from 2017 to 2022. Mauricio is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organization and Leadership at the University of San Francisco, building upon an educational background that includes a Master of Arts in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
