John Kirkley

John Kirkley is a seasoned Episcopal priest with extensive experience in church leadership and community service. Currently serving as Rector at St. James Episcopal Church since November 2010, Kirkley previously held rector positions at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church and had roles as Associate Vicar and Director of Development at Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church & Every Voice Network. Kirkley has a strong background in fundraising and donor relations, having worked as Director of Alumni & Donor Relations at UC Berkeley School of Law, and has held various leadership and program roles in nonprofit organizations. Educational credentials include a Master of Divinity in Theology from Chicago Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religious Studies from Indiana University Bloomington.
