Roy Beale

Roy Beale has over 20 years of experience in various roles in media relations and communications. Roy is currently the Head of Media Relations at St. James's Place Wealth Management. Prior to this, they worked as Managing Director at Next Chapter Communications Ltd from 2017 to 2020. Roy also served as Senior Manager, Media Relations at TSB Bank from 2013 to 2016, where they led the corporate media relations team and played a key role in significant events such as the bank's IPO and acquisition. Before that, they worked as a Media Relations Manager at Lloyds Banking Group and Nationwide Building Society, where they developed and implemented PR strategies, managed communication plans, and oversaw media contact programs. Roy began their career as a Customer Service Adviser at Nationwide Building Society. Roy Beale earned their LLB degree in Law from the University of Reading, where they attended from 2001 to 2004. Afterward, they pursued further education at the University of the West of England from 2004 to 2005, completing a Legal Practice Course also in the field of Law. In addition to their formal education, Roy obtained certifications in "How to Be a Positive Leader (Blinkist Summary)" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in April 2020.
