John Whitehead

John Whitehead is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and oversight roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Commissioner for the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Lessons from Covid-19 and as Chancellor for Hato Hone St John, John has held various leadership positions, including Board Trustee for Wellington Activity Centre and member of both the General Synod Standing Committee and the Anglican Diocese of Wellington. John's past roles include Chair of the Risk and Assurance Committee at Crown Law Office and GCSB, as well as participation on several Board of Trustees. John possesses a robust academic background with a BSc (Hons) and MCom (Hons) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Canterbury.
