Dr Rachel Segal

Dr Rachel Segal is a barrister at St John's Chambers, specializing in clinical negligence and personal injury since October 2016. Previous experience includes roles as a county court advocate at LPC Law and a freelance advocate at QUEST LEGAL ADVOCATES LLP. Dr Segal holds a BPTC from Nottingham Law School and a first-class Grad LLB, alongside a PhD in Musicology from Newcastle University. Prior to pursuing law, Dr Segal held the position of Assistant Director at The Higher Education Academy, leading teams in Evidence-Informed Practice and Internationalisation, and managing research commissioning and publication within higher education policy.
