Frédéric Houle

Frédéric Houle has a diverse and extensive work experience. Frédéric started their career at J. Houle et Fils Inc. where they held various positions from 1995 to 2005. Frédéric then worked as a Lead Auditor at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Pratt & Whitney Canada as a Team Lead for the Internal Control Team. Frédéric then held roles such as Groupe Controller International Overhaul & Repair Shops and Controller - Assembly and Test from 2006 to 2009. Frédéric worked as a Finance Director at PRATT & WHITNEY CANADA LEASING LP from 2009 to 2011. Following that, they joined St. Johns Packaging (Emballage St-Jean Ltée) as the Director of Finance from 2011 to 2012, then became the Chief Financial Officer from 2013 onwards. Frédéric also worked as the Managing Director from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they are a Board Member at Edgegap since 2020.

Frédéric Houle has an extensive education background. Frédéric obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Accounting at HEC Montréal from 2002 to 2003. Frédéric's undergraduate studies were also completed at HEC Montréal, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from 1998 to 2001.

Aside from their academic achievements, Frédéric has also obtained several certifications. In 2005, they became a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) through the Ordre des CPA du Québec. Later, in 2008, they obtained an additional MBA certification from HEC Montréal. Most recently, in September 2021, they acquired a certification in Blockchain Fundamentals from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
