Mani Nezhad

Neuroscience Medical Director at St. John's Regional Medical Center

Mani Nezhad has extensive work experience in the field of neurology. Mani is currently working at Link Neuroscience Institute as a Vascular and Adult Neurologist since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Neuroscience Medical Director and Stroke Program Medical Director at St. Johns Hospital Camarillo, St. John's Regional Medical Center, and Dignity Health from 2016 to 2021. Mani also served as a Vascular Neurology Fellow and Neurology Resident at Cedars-Sinai from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as an Internal Medicine Intern at St. Mary Medical Center from 2011 to 2012.

Mani Nezhad pursued their education in a progressive manner, starting with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California, which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended Georgetown University from 2006 to 2007, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biophysics and Physiology. Continuing their academic journey, Mani Nezhad then enrolled at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where they completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from 2007 to 2011, specializing in the field of Medicine.

In addition to their degrees, Mani Nezhad has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their expertise. Mani obtained certification in General Adult Neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. in September 2015. In October 2016, they earned certification in Vascular Neurology from the same institution. Most recently, in October 2021, they obtained certification in Neurocritical Care from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.
