Tamika Davenport, CPP has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources and Payroll. Tamika began their career in 2010 as a Payroll Compliance Auditor at Novak Francella LLC. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Payroll Specialist/Program Assistant at Sound Shore Medical Center. Tamika then joined Montefiore Health System in 2013 and held various roles including Payroll Analyst, Data Manager, and Assistant Payroll Manager until 2019. In 2019, they joined St. John's Riverside Hospital as a Payroll Supervisor and later transitioned to the role of HRIS and Compensation Manager. Tamika was then promoted to Senior Human Resources Manager before becoming the current Assistant Director of Human Resources. Throughout their career, Tamika has focused on streamlining processes, managing compensation and benefits, and ensuring market competitive pay practices.
Tamika Davenport, CPP, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from Franklin Pierce University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Excel© for Accounting from Wiley in April 2021 and Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) from the American Payroll Association in August 2020.
