Anthony Doss, MD, FABPMR has extensive experience in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Professor at both Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, where they develop curriculum and lectures on various medical topics. Anthony also trains and evaluates medical students and residents during their clinical rotations and oversees clinical research projects.

Prior to their current positions, Dr. Doss served as the Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Consultation Service at St. Joseph's Health. In this role, they pioneered and developed a new acute inpatient rehabilitation program for patients with complex rehabilitation injuries. Anthony led an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team and oversaw business development and marketing for the program.

Dr. Doss also worked as an Attending Physician at Restore Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine, where they developed treatment plans and managed patients with complex rehabilitation and musculoskeletal diagnoses. Anthony collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to provide appropriate interventions for optimal patient functional outcomes.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Doss served as the Physiatry Chief Resident Physician at JFK Health and held the position of Physiatry Resident Physician at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Hackensack Meridian Health. Anthony began their medical training as a Preliminary Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Atlantic Health System.

Throughout their career, Dr. Doss has demonstrated expertise in physical medicine and rehabilitation, leadership, and research.

Anthony Doss, MD, FABPMR obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Meharry Medical College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School from 2010 to 2011. In 2008, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from New York University. Anthony began their higher education journey at the New York Institute of Technology in 2007, studying Biology/Biological Sciences, General.
