Paul O’Byrne

Dr. Paul O'Byrne joins the JBG as the current Dean and Vice-President of McMaster University's Faculty of Health Sciences and Dean of the University's Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. He is a Distinguished University Professor of McMaster, an active Respirologist and a world-renowned researcher who has made significant advances on the mechanisms and treatment of asthma. Previously, for 14 years, he was both Chair of the Department of Medicine for McMaster and the executive director of the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton.
