Jean-Yves Metais

Jean-Yves Metais is a seasoned professional in the field of laboratory operations and research, currently serving as the Director of Laboratory Operations at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC since September 2014. With a rich background in the Bone Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Department, Jean-Yves has held various roles including Lab Director and Staff Scientist in both Hematology and Cellular Therapy. Prior experience includes significant tenures at The National Institutes of Health and Inserm, where Jean-Yves contributed as a Staff Scientist and Ph.D. Student, respectively. Jean-Yves holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Aix-Marseille University, an engineering degree from ESIL - GBMA, and an educational background in biological and biochemical analyses from Université de Bourgogne.
