Michael Oldham

Michael Oldham is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in structural biology and protein technology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC since March 2022, Michael specializes in the Protein Technology Center. Prior to this role, Michael contributed to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute from January 2009 to March 2022, engaging in structural and functional studies on ATP Binding Casette (ABC) Transporters and conducting research on the bacterial maltose transporter. Additional positions included Senior Research Associate at The Rockefeller University and Postdoctoral Fellow at the American Heart Association. Michael's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University and dual Bachelor degrees in Biochemistry and Biology from Indiana University Bloomington.
