Sarah Scott is an experienced professional in grant writing and development management, currently serving as Grants Manager at St. Louis Area Foodbank since May 2022. Prior to this role, Sarah has accumulated extensive experience as a Grant Writer in a freelance capacity since July 2019. Sarah also held the position of Development Director at Miriam: The Learning Disability Experts from May 2010 to July 2019 and at STAGES St. Louis from March 2002 to May 2010. Earlier in Sarah's career, positions included Flight Attendant at United Airlines and Client Services Coordinator at Anheuser-Busch. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from Webster University.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank is the bi-state region’s largest non-profit 501(c)(3) food distribution center dedicated to feeding those in need. Through our network of more than 500 partner agencies, we distributed over 42 million pounds of food in 2016. Thanks to the generous support from our donors and volunteers, we provide food assistance to more than 57,000 individuals each week in 26 counties in Eastern Missouri and Southwestern Illinois. The St. Louis Area Foodbank is a proud member of both the United Way and Feeding America – a nationwide network of over 200 food banks.
