Jessica Brown

Jessica Brown has a diverse work experience in the education field. Jessica is currently the Director of Clinical Education at St. Louis Teacher Residency since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager Academics at TNTP from June 2021 to August 2022. Jessica also served as an Assistant School Leader at KIPP St. Louis from June 2020 to June 2021. Before that, they held the position of Manager, Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America from August 2018 to June 2020. Jessica has also worked as a 6th Grade Science Teacher at KIPP St. Louis from August 2017 to August 2018, Programs Director at Teach For America from July 2016 to August 2017, and 5th Grade Math Teacher at KIPP NYC from August 2015 to July 2016. Their earlier roles include Academic Instructional Coach at Confluence Academy Old North from June 2011 to June 2015 and Elementary School Teacher at Derrick Thomas Academy from September 2009 to July 2011.

Jessica Brown holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, which they earned between 2011 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Jessica also obtained a certification in SharePoint Quick Tips from LinkedIn in July 2021.
