Karen Schultz has extensive experience in educational and outreach roles spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Lay Ministries Coordinator at St. Luke Lutheran Church since November 2009, Karen has previously worked as a substitute teacher in educational settings including Pinewood Preparatory School and Dorchester School District, where instruction spanned grades 6-12 and special education. Other notable positions include Collections Manager at Time-Warner Cable in Las Vegas, where Karen established a collections program while overseeing a team, and Executive Director at Faith Lutheran Jr./Sr. High School, focusing on fundraising and administration. Additionally, as an Employment Counselor at the South Carolina Employment Security Commission, Karen specialized in assisting difficult-to-place job seekers. Karen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Spanish, and Psychology from Newberry College.
