Duane Anderson is an experienced orthopedic surgeon currently serving as the Orthopedic Surgery Staff at Soddo Christian Hospital since 2005, where Duane is also the Director of the Ethiopian Hospital and the Pan African Academy of Christian Surgeons Training program. Prior to this role, Duane Anderson was the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Northwest Orthopedics from October 1993 to August 2005, managing an orthopedic private practice in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Education was obtained at the University of Minnesota Medical School, from 1975 to 1979.

The purpose of the institution is to supply severely needed health care in a compassionate, and sacrificing manner with the utmost quality and integrity. Our vision was to establish a private hospital in Wolaitta, Ethiopia, as a medical training center that will minister to the needs of the people in Ethiopia. It is a fee-for-service private hospital. In 2016 we had over 20,000 patients. Since 2005 we have served over 200,000 patients. It is amazing what can be accomplished with your donation. The cost of a minor surgery is approximately $300.00.
