Phyllis Edwards

Phyllis Edwards is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Youth Development Coordinator at MCPS since January 2018, where oversight of Super School Counselors and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) occurs. Previous roles include Dean of Academics at St. Margaret's School, Director of Counseling Services at Chatham Hall, Director of School Counseling at Henrico County Public Schools, and School Counselor at Chesterfield County Public Schools. Early career experience includes serving as Head Counselor at Carter G. Woodson Middle School. Phyllis Edwards holds a Master of Education from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, Sociology, and English from the University of Richmond.
