Shawn Spjut

Shawn Spjut has extensive experience in laboratory medicine, currently serving as Laboratory Supervisor at Lakeview Hospital since December 2021 and as Senior Medical Technologist in Special Chemistry at ARUP Laboratories since January 2018. In previous roles, Spjut has held significant positions such as Chemistry Lead at St. Mark's Hospital, where responsibilities included overseeing the Quality Assurance plan, developing policies, and coordinating employee training. Spjut also served as Education Coordinator, ensuring compliance with training and regulatory standards. Earlier experiences include working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Jordan Valley Medical Center and as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Scientist at Intermountain Healthcare. Spjut holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Weber State University.
