Amy McClelland

Amy McClelland is an experienced educator with a focus on special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Lafayette Parish School System since October 2021. In addition, Amy teaches at St. Martin Parish School Board and has a role as Youth Director at Lakeview Baptist Church, guiding junior high and high school students in their spiritual growth. Amy also works as a Head Start Teacher at Community Service Programs of West Alabama, emphasizing the importance of love and support in children’s lives. Previous experience includes positions as an Insurance Agent at Alabama Insurance Agency and a Teacher at bright horizons and other organizations. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science with a focus on Early Childhood Development and Special Education from Delta State University.
