Vivek Tomer

Vivek Tomer is an accomplished data science professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Providence since February 2020. With extensive experience in AI Agents, MLOps, and medical imaging, Vivek has led multiple strategic data science projects and built high-performing teams. Prior roles include Vice President and Assistant Vice President of AI/ML Model Development at Umpqua Bank, where Vivek developed and deployed credit risk models, and the founder of VST Capital Management. Additional experience includes building an insurance pricing engine at SAIF Corporation and actuarial roles at respected organizations such as ALAS and Zurich Financial Services. Vivek holds two master's degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Quantitative Finance and Theoretical Statistics.
