Robert Kaczmarczyk has a significant background in the healthcare industry. Robert began their career in 2001 as a Supervisor of Financial Decision Support at Ingham Regional Medical Center. Robert then moved on to become the Director of Financial Decision Support at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in 2008. In 2015, Robert joined St. Mary's Medical Center as the Director of Decision Support and held this role until 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Finance at St. Mary's Medical Center.

On November 6, 1924, the Sisters of the Pallottine Missionary Society opened St. Mary's Hospital on a foundation of faith.
