Betsy Haley has extensive work experience in marketing, communications, and public relations. Betsy started their career as a Resident Administrator at the Florida Institute of Technology - Patuxent Graduate Center from June 2000 to July 2002. From July 2002 to December 2004, Betsy worked as a Senior Writer/Editor at NAVAIR Public Affairs, where they were responsible for communication and transition plans, desktop publishing projects, and distribution of publications.

In January 2005, Betsy joined LifeBridge Health as a Marketing Coordinator, and later became the Communications and Social Media Manager from July 2010 to November 2013. In these roles, they managed creative work, oversaw social media strategy, and acted as a project manager for smart phone application development.

Since June 2015, Betsy has been working at St. Mary's Ryken as the Director of Marketing and Communications. In this role, they lead the school's marketing efforts, develops comprehensive marketing plans, manages the organization's web presence, and coordinates external creative sources and production vendors. Betsy also works closely with various departments within the school and acts as a community liaison for public relations.

Betsy Haley completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations at Towson University from 1996 to 2000. Betsy then pursued a Master of Science degree in Management and e-Business at the Florida Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004.
