Dr. Ashley Verduyn is the Vice-President of Medical Affairs and Chief of Providence Healthcare. On the clinical side, she currently works as a hospitalist specializing in geriatric and medical rehabilitation.
Dr. Verduyn began her career at Providence as a long term care physician working in the Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence in 2008. Later in 2017, she became the Medical Director of the long term care home.
Having completed her undergraduate medical training at McMaster University and her residency training in family medicine at the University of Toronto, Dr. Verduyn is now also a lecturer within the Department of Community and Family Medicine at the University of Toronto. In 2018, she was the recipient of Providence’s Living their Values Award for Sanctity of Life.
