STMicroelectronics
Juan Esteban Montoya Cardona is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in materials science at ISAE-SUPAERO, with research focused on the study and optimization of ion implantation in advanced CMOS pixels, under the employment of STMicroelectronics since February 2022. His prior experience includes a multi-scale simulation project on atomic displacement effects in embedded electronic components at LAAS-CNRS and various roles at the Institut Jean Lamour that involved DFT determination of bimetallic nanocatalyst structures for hydrogen fuel cells, development of a human-machine interface for acoustic levitation systems, and nanoparticle synthesis studies for hyperthermia in cancer therapy. Additionally, at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, responsibilities included tutoring first-year science courses and assisting international student mobility initiatives.
